Clever Buoy wins Spikes Asia Innovation Grand Prix

Our Optus Clever Buoy has won the inaugural Innovation Grand Prix amid a three-gong haul at Spikes Asia in Singapore.

The project that created breakthrough shark detection technology to demonstrate the power of the Optus network, is officially Asia Pacific’s most innovative piece of work with the Spikes top prize. It also won two Bronze Spikes in the Digital category, for Branded Tech and Craft, Innovative Use of Technology and was shortlisted for Consumer Services.
The Spikes success follows a double Gold result for Clever Buoy at the Kinsale Sharks and proved a

good omen ahead of the IAB Mixx Awards where it won a Special, People’s Choice Innovation Gold. Hopefully more good things await ahead of the ADMA Australian Creativity and Effectiveness Awards where it is a finalist in a number of categories.
It’s shaping as a big awards season for our Clever Buoy, congrats to all involved.
