Sport & Ent have Bathurst fans high on Pepsi

This year M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment ensured 900 Bathurst fans got something they’ll talk about for the rest of their lives from the great race.

The Bathurst 1000 is so big on the Aussie sporting calendar that even non petrol-heads have heard of it.

The annual V8 blat ‘round Mount Panorama is the thing motor sports fans get more hot and sweaty about than anything else.

This year M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment ensured 900 of them got something they’ll talk about for the rest of their lives.

The lucky punters got to watch some of the great race from the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge, an S&E activation that soared 60m above the mount for the full four-day duration.

In a canny move, the Sport & Entertainment team, led by Kirsty Jones and Zoe Hartas, got the Pepsi Max Crew Drivers Mark Winterbottom and eventual race winner Chaz Mostert to help generate talk which they did, amassing several bits of coverage on all the networks including three days in a row on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, three live weather crosses and two marriage proposals.
